Free Webinar for Mattress Stewardship Program Best Practices

This webinar will walk attendees through best practices for setting up the infrastructure for carpet and mattress stewardship programs. It will present information about the amount of collection space required, transportation requirements, appropriate processing centers, and materials recovery. And, it will discuss opportunities for all states to increase recycling opportunities and build capacity for carpet and mattress stewardship legislation.

Currently, only California, Rhode Island and Connecticut have laws regarding the proper disposal of mattresses and carpets. But stakeholders from all states are strongly encouraged to register for this webinar, as the lessons learned from carpet and mattress stewardship programs will help any site considering opportunities to more effectively manage these bulky products.
